28th June – In the Reclaimed Materials Spotlight for Repurposing
The reclaimed products and materials have continued to flow into our reclamation yard over the last week. One of our most popular products – a reclaimed cast red bath arrived, as well as some fantastic wooden push plates.
Here are some of our unique products that arrived recently that we have decided to put in the spotlight this week. We really encourage our customers to come and visit us to see the fantastic range of products we have. We are open for business and are open until 4 pm each weekday. All staff and customers are asked to maintain all relevant precautions and safe distancing.
The theme for this weeks spotlight post is repurposing. A lot of these products may be outdated antiques, and not necessarily fit for their original purpose. However, each one of these reclaimed products below could be repurposed, or serve as a great focal point in a room.
Antique Heat Transfer Stand
Heat transfer stands are used to press print onto garments and other materials. This antique heat transfer stand, although not necessarily fit for its original use, could easily be repurposed into some kind of garden furniture or objet d’art.
It’s currently in stock and on display at our yard in East Sussex.

Much like the heat transfer stand, this small accountancy typewriter is now obsolete in the world of accounting.
