5th February – In the Reclaimed Materials Spotlight
As we start off the new month, we have plenty of exciting new arrivals at our reclamation yard in Stonegate, East Sussex. This week, we’re showing off a few of our favourite reclaimed doors that came to us recently. We’re always getting a wide range of unique products coming to us, so you should always check to see what we have in stock!

Nice Ol’ L&B Door
This is a really interesting Ledge and Brace door. These are also called Board and Batten doors and are made from verticle planks of wood fixed together by a couple of horizontal planks.
The wood in this door is bursting with character, and can’t be replicated in any other piece of wood.
You simply can’t get the same effect from a new door, and if you have a period property, getting a reclaimed door will help match the style of your home.

Blue Front Door
This reclaimed front door is in great condition and could be the perfect finishing touch to your home.
All the hooks and handles have been removed for your convenience, and it’s got buckets of character.
The frosted glass on the door means that it provides your home with a bit of privacy, whilst still letting a good amount of light in.

Half-Glazed Oak Stable Door
The reason why we love this stable door is that it’s so unique. The great thing about reclaimed products made from wood is that the age of the wood makes it so full of character.
The crafted oak in this door has aged well, but it’s still in really good condition. You could give it a lick of paint and it will look as good as new.
The half glazed element would make this door also seem more like a window. This means if you use it as an external door, it will let plenty of light into the room.
