Terms & Conditions
All our goods are sold as seen. The majority are reclaimed goods and are sold in same condition as we have purchased. We try and sort through our stock removing any unusable items but some goods will have imperfections including varying colours and sizes. It’s important to keep in mind that anqiue items were often not perfect to begin with so these imperfections are very common in reclaimed items. We believe that part of the charm of using reclaimed items are these slight imperfections as they add to their character.
We appreciate some customers will be looking for something specific. Whilst every effort is made to ensure our customers wishes are met, sometimes a lot of work is needed to resort/regrade to fulfil orders. In these cases, additional charges may occur. This must be agreed and paid for by customer before work is completed.
Our Trucks – Where possible we will deliver your items personally on one of our drop side sprinters. These can take a load of up to 1.5 tonnes. We offload the goods by hand in a convenient and safe place, where we can park the truck.
Help? – We only off load onto kerb -side or on driveways, where our trucks can gain access. We only send one driver so help on site must be supplied unless previously specified at cost.
On delivery – Please ensure you check you are satisfised with the quantity and quality of goods being delivered whilst the driver is still on site. We try our best to meet our customers satisfaction but once we have left the item is in your care.
Large orders – We make use of the services of a local haulage firm with a fork lift attached to the rear of their vehicles.
ILS Delivery’s – If one of these two options is not viable, we have a business link with ILS Palletways, a UK freight company, who can deliver a pallet of goods anywhere accross the country, and in Europe Each pallet can be up to 1000kg in weight. All deliveries using this service will come to you on a pallet. These lorrys are 7.5 Ton sized. The driver will tail-lift the pallet off the lorry and place on the side of the road for you to unwrap, unload and relocate. They do not take the pallet away, this will be down to yourself to dispose of. On longer items such as floorboards we are able to specify hand unloads tho this will be the customers responsibility. Please beware Pallets unloaded with a tail-lift will be using a trolly jack or pump truck. These small lifting machines are not usable on gravel driveways and other rough terrain. Please also be aware that if we arrange the delivery palletways will only insure the item for our cost, for items of value, or brakeable items we recomend a company called Shipley. Please be aware that they only refund us for our purchase price and we are required to provide proof to suport this and, as a lot of our stock is from private sellers we do not always have this information available. Though will do our best to put right any accidentents that may occure in their care, we do not take any resbonsibility for this and are not liable if any insidents occure via this methode of transport. We do not recomend this method for anything delicate or fragial and this method is chosen at buyers own risk.
Shipley Delivery’s – Shiply is a UK-based limited company providing an internet marketplace where transport service requesters may list items they need to move, and where providers of transport services can bid in a reverse auction format. You have to get in touch with them yourself otherwise your item isn’t insured, but you will get offers straight away by rated drivers and these offers continue to get cheaper the longer you leave it. They are normally man and a van services where the driver that collects will be the same that drops off, unlike palletways. For more information about their service speak to the company that you choose directly. We are able to aid loading up at our end.
For smaller, lighter items – We can send them next day via a parcel delivery service.
Exporting internationally – This will be down to you, the customer, to arrange. We will assist in any way we can with specific dimensions, weight, materials and signing any necessary shipping documents. We will also have the items wrapped securely on a pallet, crate or in a box, ready for collection. We regularly load articulated lorries for export to Europe and have items picked from our yard to go into shipping containers to go further a field.
Un paid Invoices – On some occasions we will deliver stock with invoices outstanding. This is in special circumstance with certain repeat customers. In this instance any stock unpaid remains the property of Authentic Reclamation LTD and if still unpaid after multiple attempts have been made to contact the customer steps will be taken to reclaim the stock.

Items on Hold
We are happy to reserve items for customer up to one week and at the end of this period, if not claimed and paid for, the items are put back into stock (Unless, in special circumstances, a later date has been pre arranged or an extension has been requested and agreed).
Purchased items need to be collected as soon as possible (unless delivery is via ourselves or a courier company is pre arranged). In special circumstances we are able to store items but this comes at great cost to ourselves (as new stock cannot get into the yard). For this reason, after two weeks if we haven’t heard from the purchaser and we have failed to agree a collection date, storage charges will be levied. A £10 +VAT weekly charge will be levied per item in dry storage and per pallet on external storage, after one month following purchase. This will continue until the storage charges exceed the value paid for the item, after which it will be returned to stock.
Refunds may be issued within the first month of purchase. The majority of the goods we sell are reclaimed, salvaged or antique. The customer is responsible to satisfy themselves that the condition, quality, and function of goods are suitable for the purpose intended at the time of purchase. If an item has been found faulty by both customer and us, we will issue a full refund with an original invoice, once the items have been returned. We understand that sometimes things change so if the customer has had a change of mind, time scale, delivery or collection will be factored into a handling charge.
Buy backs on over orders will incur handling charges. This will be calculated by a few factors, the amount of buy back converted into %, the delivery or collection of items, whether we still have some of the original batch, if we’ve had to resort / regrade to fulfil your order and if the returned item or items match the condition it was original purchased in.
