Here we have a ‘No Surrender 1690’ Sign in stock and on display in our showroom here at Authentic Reclamation. The Battle of The Boyne took place on 1 July 1690. King William’s III forces defeated King James II ‘s army, which consisted mostly of raw recruits. Although the Williamite War in Ireland continued until October 1691, King James II fled to France after the Boyne, never to return.
