Most of the reclaimed building materials and architectural salvage we buy needs some work. Not all of it, but a lot will need some aspect of restoration.

It is always a great testament to the quality products we sell, that they can be brought back to life and look as good as this bench.

Lots of elbow grease was involved with this project, with the cast iron legs being rubbed down, going from a matt green to gloss black. The wooden slats themselves were taken right back and then varnished for weather proofing.

Our customers kindly sent us two photographs, showing the before and after shots of the bench they restored for their garden.
