LEFCOWARE BOY HOLDING A SCALLOP

A vintage Lefcoware birdbath formed as a putto standing on a square plinth holding up a scallop shaped bowl. This birdbath was one of the most successful designs produced by the Leeds Fireclay Company and this is a particularly good example with crisp detail, comes with some slight damage, this is from the late 19th/early 20th Century
