Our Reclaimed Old Oak Sleepers, are in stock and available on display in our yard at Authentic Reclamation.
These sleepers have been treated with creosote, creosote and tar can leak from them. Hot weather tends to draw the creosote and tar to the surface, and though these are old they can still weep tar which may stick to hands/clothing. We do not recommended using these where people will be in contact with them.
Our used, reclaimed Old Oak sleepers are ideal for building retaining walls, storage bays, path edgings, steps and countless other garden or agricultural uses. A cost effective, long lasting chunky piece of reclaimed timber!
Size approx. – 94 1/2″-102 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ (2400-2600 x 241 x 165 mm)
Lengths can vary but are generally between 2.4m and 2.6m.
