Reclaimed [weathered] York Stone paving Flags in Sussex, Kent, Surrey & South London
We are a Sussex based company offering three grades of reclaimed York Stone paving flags.
Our top grade York Stone paving, sometimes known as York stone flags or flagstones is 2 to 3 inches thick and worn smooth over the years to produce a stunning patina. These riven paving slabs are typical of the stone you might find inside a church and are often referred to as “Cathedral quality”. This top grade Yorkstone is suitable for internal or external use.
Our middle grade York stone paving is 2 to 4 inches thick, again with a smooth weathered finish. Usually reclaimed from more than one source originally, these riven paving flags can be used to produce beautifully aged external stone patios, paths or steps.
Low grade York stone paving flags are 4 to 5 inches thick normally sourced from Northern mills and usually with more of a textured surface. These paving stones, sometimes known as “mill flags” are suitable for external patios and paths to produce a more rustic look.
All our York stone paving comes in random sizes, giving an authentic original appearance when laid as an internal floor or an external patio.
Crazy York Stone paving
Crazy York stone paving is an inexpensive method of producing an external patio with a similar aged and weathered appearance to york stone paving flags. Crazy York is random shaped York stone pieces. All our crazy York is reclaimed with a smooth weathered patina.
New York Stone paving
Again an inexpensive alternative to original York stone paving, new York stone paving is freshly quarried york stone paving in random sizes. Typically a mixture of golden brown and buff brown with some seams of York stone paving producing a grey colour as well. Again, suitable for external paths and patios.

We are based on the Kent and East Sussex borders about 10 miles south of Tunbridge Wells and we deliver to the whole of the South East including West Sussex, Surrey and South London.
